Windham Grows to Host Community Table September 18

All are welcome to participate in Windham Grows’ Community Table on Wednesday, September 18, 12 p.m. – 1: 30 p.m. at the River Garden, 157 Main Street, Brattleboro, Vermont.

What is a Community Table?

A monthly roundtable discussion for those who embrace sustainability, entrepreneurship, and community as a means to promote local food and food businesses to grow locally.

The Design:

One table, one conversation. Participants drive the conversation by bringing ideas, questions, and issues!

You should come to the Community Table if you:

  • Have a food-related challenge that you need some help addressing in your community or in your business

  • Want to network with other movers and shakers in the vibrant food economy

  • Want feedback on a new product idea

Who’s Around the Table? Food Entrepreneurs, Students, Consultants, Investors, Eaters, and anyone in the food space interested in getting and giving feedback and making meaningful connections.

“The great thing about the Community Table is that participants can come away with direct results,” said Cindy Delgatto, Windham Grows’ Program Manager. “In the time it takes to eat your lunch you can expand your network, find partners and discover new ways to get your product on retail shelves.”

“Come when you can, and stay as long as you like,” commented Orly Munzing, Strolling of the Heifers’ Executive Director, “Bring your lunch and have an informal chat with likeminded community members, makers, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in local food. Our hope is that you will join the conversation to connect with and learn from others doing awesome work in our community!”

For more information and to RSVP, contact Cindy Delgatto at cindy@strollingoftheheifers.com.

Community Table will be held the third Wednesday of each month. Upcoming dates are September 18, October 16, November 20, and December 18.
