Adam Gordon, Partner, President, Madison Development LLC
Sustainability Solutions Café
Thursday, April 12, 2018
12:30-1:30 (pizza lunch)
Haldeman Building 041
29 North Main Street, Hanover, NH

In the Bronx, developer Adam Gordon’s Madison Development has launched the city’s largest community solar-panel system – allowing participants to share energy without installing panels on their own homes or apartment buildings. http://madisondevelopment.com/images/press/pdf/111617_NY%20POST%20ARTICLE_FINAL.pdf

One of his new projects involves redeveloping two city blocks in Brooklyn into 2 e-commerce/last mile distribution warehouses. They represent an innovative generation of automated warehouses designed to bring Amazon and other deliveries quickly to urban dwellers. They will be exploring both solar and geothermal to bring the project towards net neutral energy consumption.  The buildings will approach 200,000 square feet, so the projects have the scale to demonstrate real impact.  Both private sector providers and public agencies will be involved.

Please join us as Adam engages with the Dartmouth community on these projects.
Sponsored by the Porter Family Fund for Sustainability in the Curriculum, the Office of Sustainability at Dartmouth College, and the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society.

Free and open to the public.
