Community Advocates for Sustainable Energy (CASE)* is sponsoring a public forum on the many diverse options for using solar energy for one’s everyday electricity needs.
The forum will be held on Wednesday, March 28th at 6:30 pm at the First United Methodist Church at 1 Gilligan Road, East Greenbush, NY. This event is free and open to the public.
Today’s fast-paced changes in the solar energy industry mean that nearly everyone can now afford clean, reliable renewable solar energy. However, not everyone realizes this yet. So, at this meeting, one will learn how easy and price competitive solar energy has become in the Capital Region.
There will be a Power Point presentation detailing the unique and varied solar opportunities for both NYSEG or National Grid residential customers, businesses and organizations.
Companies such as Hudson Solar, Monolith Solar, and High Peaks Solar will be part of an educational panel talking about their shared community or solar “farms” along with on-site solar installations for NYSEG and National Grid customers. They will be explaining lease or buy choices for rooftop, ground mounts and off- site locations.
Look for select companies offering NYSEG or National Grid customers information about switching to a 100% renewable energy supplier.

This event is also being sponsored by Citizen Action of Albany, NY.
