In January of 2018 Buffalo Geothermal Heating, LLC launched their ‘BGH Gives Back Campaign’, which will raise donations and funds for local non-profit organizations.
“It is quite simple. We want to give back,” said Shannon Lach, Vice President of Marketing for Buffalo Geothermal Heating, LLC. “Our entire staff has a heart of gold, and we wanted to implement that gold heart mentality into the culture of our business. We know there are many places in Buffalo in need, so we wanted to create a platform where the community can join us in supporting a certain organization or need.”
The first campaign benefited Child & Family Services. Bins were overflowing with donations Buffalo Geothermal had gathered from friends, family and geothermal
supporters. Items included laundry detergent, diapers, hygiene products, hair ties, blankets and bedding. Over 60 items were collected during this initial campaign.
“Thank you thank you thank you!!!,” boasted LInda McCartain, Program Director at Child & Family Services. “I wish you could see the excitement in my workers faces as I was able to handover diapers and laundry detergent along with other wonderful items such as pillows bedding and hygiene products! They know how thrilled their families will be to help ease the burden that many of our clients experience is such a blessing. Thank you for helping make this into a reality.”
