Over 1,000 young Vermonters will gather on the State House on Wednesday, April 12th—one week from today—for the Second Annual Youth Rally for the Planet.
This action-packed day will be hosted and run by high school organizers—many of whom have been working tirelessly these past few months to plan and recruit for this awesome event. These students are not just the leaders of tomorrow — they are the leaders of today.
In planning committees across the state, these young changemakers—under the banner of Youth Lobby—have decided to focus this years’ Rally on bold climate action including putting a price on carbon pollution. They will be marching on the State House lawn, installing a large art project that has been in the works for months, and meeting with legislators inside the building among other exciting activities. As a bonus, there will be live music and free ice cream for attendees!
