Before you argue with a climate denier, watch this

EDFOne of the most frustrating parts of being a climate activist is finding yourself in an argument with a self-identified “climate skeptic.”

Maybe they argue that global warming isn’t happening…or that humans aren’t responsible…or even that global warming is good for people!

The truth is, more than 97 percent of publishing climate scientists agree that humans are causing climate change.

So how do you respond to these “alternative facts?”

Sharpen your debate skills with two of EDF’s top climate scientists at our one-hour live webinar, “Responding to Arguments by Climate Change Skeptics.”

Featuring:
Ilissa Ocko, Climate Scientist
Scott Weaver, Senior Climate Scientist

Ilissa and Scott will review some of the most common arguments used by climate skeptics and how to counter them. Following their presentation, time will be reserved for you to ask your own questions about climate science and communications.

When: Thursday, April 20, 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. ET
Where: Your internet-enabled computer or tablet

To reserve your spot, please submit your RSVP online.
