National Trails Day is June 1st this is the day when trails group throughout the country will get together to do their spring cleaning on their local trail networks.
The Cross Vermont trail Association-CVTA www.crossvermont.org
and the Newbury Conservation Commission-NCC are sponsoring this year’s event.
Trails Day Work Day Saturday June 1st from 9:00 am to 3pm at Blue Mt. School in Wells River. Spring cleaning of the Wells River Conservation Trails
We really need volunteers to step up and help.
NCC and CVTA have been awarded a grant to re-surface the trail in Wells River and we have to get the prep-work done. Cleaning back brush and spring growth and cleaning out the water bars on the side of the trails.
Tool needed; weed whackers, big & small, brush cutters, loppers, shovels & rakes, chainsaws
